Chicken Eggs vs. Quail Eggs

For quite some time now, there have been issues in some areas with chicken eggs being in short supply in grocery stores. This has driven the price of a dozen chicken eggs up significantly. In addition, there have been problems with bird flu that caused thousands of chickens to be culled, which further impacted egg and chicken meat availability.

Many people are fortunate enough to be able to own their own chickens so they can raise their own chicken meat and collect their own eggs. Where I live, we cannot have chickens. I started researching what else I could do to alleviate the problem with chickens and eggs. I decided to try quail as an alternative.

I was able to order some quail eggs and just started incubating them. I have decided to do videos on You Tube so you can follow along from incubating, to hatching, to grow out to quail laying their first eggs. Follow me for the progress. It should be fun.
